How we want to make software integration even easier!
Developing with the open-source Frank!Framework is already relatively simple. You can create complex (Java) integrations between systems and applications by configuring them in XML. You still have to configure the XML of the Adapters yourself, but we are working hard to make this even easier, with the Frank!Flow project. The project is not yet 100% finished, but we can’t wait to give a preview!
With the Frank!Flow you no longer need knowledge of XML. You can fully configure adapters in the browser. This no longer happens with XML, but with dragging and connecting ready-made components in a graphical environment. The graphical configuration is converted into an XML format.
In addition, you also have the option to view and edit XML in the browser. The great thing about this is that you can seamlessly switch between the XML editor and the visual editor, or a hybrid view. This allows beginners to visualize what happens to the XML while creating a configuration. You can also type XML and create a graphical representation of your live configuration.
Thanks to this solution, it has become even easier to get started with the Frank!Framework. You need less knowledge of XML and the documentation becomes clearer than ever before. The Frank!Flow is completely open-source. The project can be viewed on: github.com/ibissource/frank-flow
The Frank! Flow is scheduled for Release 8, which we will release in mid-2022. Would you like more information? Contact us below for a consultation.
